Is to have a Visual termite check with written report at the same time as having a General pest treatment. This option is a must if you own the house or unit to be treated. It is also a good safe option if you are renting and may be liable for any damage that may arise during your rental period.

When conducting a visual termite check our technicians use a special donga to sound the timber architraves, skirtings, door jambs, window reveals, floor bearers and joists if applicable. They also use a moisture meter to check walls for excessive moisture content, which can be an indication of termite activity or sometimes it can be an early sign of a leaking shower, bath or toilet which enables you to rectify the problem before it turns into a major headache. Our technicians also look for any signs of termite activity in the roof void, sub-floor space, around the house internal and external as well as in the garden.

Once our technician has completed the pest treatment and visual termite check, a written report will be filled out and handed to you with advice on how to rectify any problem areas which may be conducive to concealed termite activity. The visual termite check option is only available with a pest treatment. For a stand alone termite report a full Termite Inspection Report in accordance with Australian Standard 3660 can be carried out.
